Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has arrived. Microsoft has launched it latest dual screen Android smartphone-- Surface Duo2. Successor to the last year launched Microsoft Surface Duo, the smartphone features a bigger and high resolution display. The Android device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 runs Android 11 operating system and it comes with integration with Microsoft Teams. Users can use both these Microsoft apps simultaneously on the device. The dual screen device comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and NFC for contactless payments. The smartphone comes with support for Surface Pen that can work magnetically with the device.

Its price starts at $1499.99 (Rs 1,10,675/-). The Android device is already up for pre-order and will start shipping the device from October 21.



Specifications of Microsoft Duo 2

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 sports a 5 8 inch AMOLED single display with 1244×1892 pixel resolution. The display size increases to 8.3 inches when you open the display. The display offers a 90 Hz adaptive refresh rate and it is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

The dual screen smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8 GB RAM. The device comes in three storage variants-- 128  GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. The device runs Android 11 operating system.

Microsoft Surface Duo sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, dual LED flash and a 12MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture. The device is home to a 12MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The dual screen Smartphone is backed by a 4449 mAh battery with 23W fast charging support.
