The Redmi 9 Activ is expected to go on sale in India on Friday, September 24, announced on Thursday, with Xiaomi's smaller product Redmi. The exact specification of the Redmi 9 Activ is yet to be revealed. However, the new Redmi phone is expected to come as a variant of the first Redmi 9 launched by Xiaomi in August last year. Along with Redmi 9 Activ, the Chinese company is set to launch the Redmi 9A Sport in the country as a new variant of the Redmi 9A.



Sales details for Redmi 9 Activ Smartphone in India

Redmi India's official Twitter account has revealed that Redmi 9 Activ will be sold on Friday via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studio. The price and specification of the Redmi 9 Activ is yet to be revealed, however. The official photo posted by Redmi India account has a caption showing the back of Redmi's new phone. It does not suggest any major changes over the original Redmi 9 and features a dual rear camera setup on the Redmi 9 Activ. The phone has been upgraded to have 4GB + 64GB storage configuration and features a fingerprint sensor on the back - similar to the Redmi 9.

MySmartPrice, in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal, reports separately that Redmi 9 Activ will be among the two new Redmi phones Xiaomi plans to launch in India soon. Another model is called the Redmi 9A Sport.
