A few days ago, it was reported that the Walmart group's digital payment firm PhonePe has decided to impose a tariff on their services on a trial basis, meaning that recharging a mobile through PhonePe will deduct extra money from the user's account. Popular online payment platform PhonePay has now confirmed that they will not charge any extra money for UPI transactions, according to the report. That is, any type of UPI transaction made through the PhonePay app will be completely free for the user. As a result, you do not have to count extra money for recharge.

Earlier, it was heard that the company was conducting an experiment with a number of users, where they would have to spend an additional Rs 1 and Rs 2 on all recharge plans from Rs 50 to Rs 100 and above Rs 100, respectively. PhonePay has announced a cashback of up to Rs 50 to make their users happy. According to the company, in order to win cashback, users have to recharge any prepaid plan worth Rs 51 or more three times. Only then will the concerned user be considered for cashback from the app authority.

It is pertinent to note that PhonePe has more than 325 million users in the country.
