Vazirani Ekonk: India's fastest electric car is coming soon



Vazirani Automotive is going to unveil another made-in-India sports car for the second time today after bringing the Shul concept car in 2016. Made entirely in India, this electric sportscar has been named EKonk. The battery-powered performance-centric vehicle is being tested at the NATRAX testing facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, before being unveiled.

।The manufacturer claims that Ekonk will be the fastest car in India. Vazirani Automotive also mentioned that it will be the lightest electric car ever made. No details have been released about the specifications or features of the car.

That said, work is underway on a new battery pack that will help reduce the weight of the car. Vazirani Automotive further said that EKonk is trying to keep the electric vehicle's carb weight close to 738 kg. The maximum power available from the car's electric motor is 727 hp.

Whether the Ekonk will be a one-seater or a two-seater car was not disclosed by Vazirani Automotive. However, the official teaser picture released shows the "EK" mascot next to the car. Which indicates, the car will come with a seat. Pure sportscars are like that.
