Periscope zoom lens can be seen for the first time in OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone

The OnePlus 9 series was launched in the first quarter of this year. Three smartphones under this series have arrived in India - OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9 Pro. The company has also confirmed that there will be no OnePlus 9T or OnePlus 9T Pro this year. Instead there is speculation that the screen may be removed from the top of a phone called OnePlus 9 RT. However, before the official announcement in this regard, the information about the OnePlus 10 Pro  smartphone that will be launched next year came to light.

OnePlus 10 Pro may come with a periscope zoom lens

With information from popular tipstar, Panda, Mukul Sharma claims that the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone will come with a more advanced camera. It will have a periscope lens. This sensor will support 5x optical zoom. Although Tipstar did not say anything about the camera sensor or its resolution.

We have already seen the use of periscope lenses in the cameras of multiple smartphones. If the OnePlus really uses this lens, the 10 Pro smartphone will be the company's first phone to have a periscope lens. So far we have seen a telephoto camera with 3x zoom on the OnePlus phone. However, in collaboration with Hasselblad or Oppo, the Chinese flagship smartphone maker could develop a periscope zoom camera.

Note that Oppo has used periscope camera sensors in several of its phones. We have seen this camera sensor in the company's premium Find X series or high mid range series Reno. As a result, it is not surprising that this sensor from Oppo is given to the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone .
