Honor 50 launches with 106 megapixel camera, gets support from Google Play Store
Huawei's one-time sub-brand, Honor, launched their new phone Honor 50 (Honor 50). The phone, which has a foothold in the Malaysian market, has a large display, a Snapdragon chipset and a 108-megapixel primary camera. However, the main surprise of the phone was the access to Google Mobile Services (GMS), which was not available on their phones until Huawei owned it (after being banned in the US) or Honor debuted as a standalone brand. Simply put, this new Honor 50 smartphone will support the Google Play Store. Anyway let's get to know the specifications and price of Honor 50 smartphone.
Honor 50 Specification, Feature
The new Honor 50 smartphone has a 6.57-inch LED Full HD + display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 21: 1. This phone uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. The phone will be available with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. For power backup, the Honor 50 has a 4,300 mAh battery, which will support 66 watts of fast charging. The phone will run on Android 11 based Magic UI 4.2 custom skin.
For photography, the Honor 50 smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. This camera will feature 4K video recording. The Honor 50 has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
Price and availability of Honor 50 smartphones
The Honor 50 phone is priced at 1,999 Malaysian ringgit (about Rs 36,000). It is available in Honor Code, Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Frost Crystal color options. Although it is not yet clear whether the phone will be launched in India.
