The 2022 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing has hit the market with new colors and features

The company has changed the color and features of the 2022 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing (plus the Gold Wing Tour Model) bikes in the international market. The company's 1000 cc flagship bike Honda GL1800 Gold Wing was first introduced to the world market in 1975. It has held the flagship badge ever since. Honda has also changed the color of the CMX1100 and CMX500 bikes in this line-up. Let's find out the new colors and features of the bikes.

The Honda GL1800 Gold Wing ‘Tour’ model of manual transmission will be available in Gunmetal Black Metallic and Black color engines from now on. The 2022 model will also be available in the new Glint Wave Blue Metallic and Pearl Glue White Paint options. The GL1800 Gold Wing Matte Jeans will be available in Blue Metallic color.

At the heart of the motorbike is the 1,833 cc flat 6 liquid cooled BS 6 engine with no modifications. It produces a maximum of 124.7 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 170 Nm at 4,500 rpm. It is also available with 6-speed manual or 8-speed DCT gearbox.

Other notable features include an 7-inch TFT screen, gyrocompass navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, electric screen, smart key operation, and more. This bike is available in a total of four riding modes.

The Honda GL1800 Gold Wing 2021 model was launched in India a few months ago. It sold out within a few weeks of its launch. The company announced that the updated version will be brought in 2022.
