Vehicles that fly in the sky, commercial aircraft or military jets, have additional benefits for their pilots. A head-up display or heads-up display is provided to keep an eye on the front and to see how high they are moving. It is a kind if transparent or transparent display,  which reveals various necessary information of jet or aircraft.

This time Volvo is thinking of applying the same type of technology in cars. The company is well-known for its emphasis on car safety. It is learned that Volvo has invested in Israeli startup Spectralics to take the traditional 'heads-up' display technology to a new height.

Spectralics is working on a new type of optic film called a multi layered thin combiner of or MLTC, which will transform into a large augmented reality or AI display once embedded in the windshield of the car. What will happen? You will see how far you are with the car in front. You can be alert if there is a possibility of collision. Besides, it will reveal various necessary information of the car.

According to Volvo, the technology could be used in in-cabin sensing, bleed  proof front looking cameras, and digital holographic projection. Above all, it will make the car more secure and enrich the driving experience. However, while this may sound like a breakthrough, the development of this technology is still in its infancy, according to Volvo.
