Delivery date of Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters has been postponed again, the company said.

A few months ago, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters were launched in the Indian market. At that time, the company said that these will be delivered from October. But that did not happen at all. Although the first phase delivery date was announced on November 30, Ola said it would be postponed again. This time, the company has announced the delivery schedule of Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro e-scooters from December 15 to the end of the month.

Ola blames the shortage of chips and various electronic components around the world. It was also informed that no new booking will be taken till the shortage of chips. In a recent email sent to customers, Ola said, "Delivery of the Ola S1 is delayed due to a shortage of chipsets and electronic components around the world." As soon as the situation becomes normal we will start our production work as soon as possible so that you can get Ola S1 as soon as possible. That is why we apologize."

On the other hand, the company claims that the range of Ola S1 and S1 Pro is 121 km and 181 km respectively. Ola says it even has a wider range than the current electric two-wheelers in India. Note that electric scooters will be accompanied by a portable 650 watt charger. Ola is also building a 'hypercharger' network in the country. The company also claims that the necessary charges can be made to cover a distance of 75 km in just 15 minutes.

Price of Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro e-scooters

The Ola S1 has a starting price of Rs 99,999. On the other hand, the Ola S1 Pro will cost Rs 1,29,999. Ola launched the first booking on September 15. Rs. 600 crore was booked in a single day, but later that figure reached Rs. 1,100 crore, the company said.
