Honda: Honda's record sales of over 4 lakh bikes and scooters in October

Honda exported 15% more bikes and scooters to foreign markets in October this year than last year.


Last month, in October, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd, an automobile company, unveiled a large number of sales of its two-wheelers. The company has sold a total of 4,32,207 two-wheelers, of which 3,94,623 are in the domestic market and 37,584 are in the overseas market.

Honda exported 15% more bikes and scooters to foreign markets in October this year than last year. The number of exports in October last year was 32,721. Regarding the monthly sales, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director (Sales and Marketing), said, The company's sales are expected to increase further in Dhanteras and Diwali. 

In early October, Honda announced that it was launching its own battery-sharing service in the Indian market. Under which the goal is to expand renewable energy as well as reduce dependence on CNG. The company will launch a battery sharing service for the country's electric three-wheelers by the first half of next year. These service centers will use Honda Mobile Power Pack E (MPP e) batteries which can be easily carried and replaced.

The company also said it had reached the milestone of 50 million cumulative domestic sales in October, the first in India since 2001. After TVS, Honda has been able to grow its business in this country at a significant rate.
