Israel summarizes list of cyber technology buyers

 Israel summarises list of cyber technology buyers. The decision came after the country's NSO group was recently accused of selling  a special hacking tool internationally.

According to Israel's Calcalist Financial newspapers, the country dropped several names from the list of cyber technology buyers for fear of misusing the tool. This information came up in a recent report of the British media Reuters.

Several countries, including the United States, Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, have dropped out of Israel's list of cyber technology buyers, according to Calcalist. Although there is no mention of any such source in the newspaper. According to the data, Israel will sell cyber technology in only 37 countries. Earlier this number was 102.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Israel has taken appropriate action for violating the terms of the export license. However, the ministry did not provide any information on which country's license has been revoked.

According to the international News Agency, phones of journalists, government  officials and social rights activists were hacked last July using the NSO's Pegasus tool. In this context, Israel has curbed the export of spyware.
