Why CNG?

There are many reasons why the demand for CNG cars has increased in recent times. In addition to rising fuel prices, the expansion of CNG gas distribution network also increases CNG car sales. The government has been instrumental in making CNG available in many parts of the country. It is important, as CNG is helping the country lower its oil import bill.

Compared to 143 sites over the past three years, CNG is now available in 293 locations. The number of CNG filling stations is also growing. Currently, there are about 3,300 CNG filling channels. This is expected to increase to 8,700 over the next 1.5 years. By 2025, the number of CNG filling stations will be about 10,000. As CNG is easily accessible, more users will be encouraged to switch to cleaner fuel.
