Norton V4SV's 1200 cc V4 engine produces 187.5 hp and 125 nm
Norton in glory again. Last year, the iconic British motorcycle brand was revived thanks to TVS. TVS acquired Norton for £ 16 million (approximately Rs 153 crore) in cash through one of its overseas affiliates. Ever since then, Norton fans have been hoping for the launch of their favorite brand new motorcycle.
The company has finally unveiled a flagship superbike, named Norton V4SV, to end the wait of their countless fans. The company claims that V4SV debuted to usher in a new chapter in Norton's history. This is a replacement model for the old V4SS motorcycle.
The output of Norton V4SV's 1200 cc V4 engine is 187.5 hp and 125 nm. Which is slightly less than the capacity of V4SS (200 hp and 130 nm). The output of the V4SV may be lower than that of other superbikes. But Norton is always suitable for those who are looking for an advanced track-ready British motorcycle.
Looking at the specs sheet of the Norton V4SV will make it even clearer. The body work of the bike as well as the fuel tank is made from carbon fiber. Even the wheels are made of that precious light metal. Premium features of the Norton V4SV include fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 fork and Ohlins TTXGP monocoque suspension.
The price of this new high-end motorcycle from Norton can be assumed to be eye-popping. By comparison, the V4SS was priced at 44,000 euros, or about 40.88 million rupees million.
