Vivo X80 series to be launched in India in two versions in early 2022: Report

Back in September, the Vivo X70 series had arrived in India. Now, the company is reportedly preparing for the launch of the X80 series, in the region early next year.


According to a report by propernewsupdate, sources close to the matter have revealed that the Chinese smartphone model is planning a 2022 launch of the X80 series in India. The new series of smartphones is expected to launch sometime in late January or early February 2022. In addition, sources also said the X80 will be available in two variants. With the X70 series introduced with the X70 Pro and the X70 Pro + variant, we can also expect versions of the X80 Pro and X80 Pro +.

Unfortunately, sources did not reveal any positive details about the two smartphones. Although, a recent report shared some important details about the X80's basic model. The entry model will have a 120Hz FHD + display with a MediaTek Dimension 2000 chipset, based on 4nm process. This version will be shipped with Android 11 OS and installed a 50 megapixel main camera with 5 axis stabilization, next to a 12MP phone lens with 2x zoom.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any information on the top models of the flagship series. Keep in mind that this is still an unconfirmed report, so take a little salt for now and wait for more updates on this device.
