Do you use Google Chrome for desktop browsing? Then be careful now. Because the new threat has appeared in Google Chrome. All your information can be stolen in an instant.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team recently reported that user's personal data could be stolen from the Chrome browser. According to the agency, all users who have older versions of Chrome browsers on their computers could be remotely attacked by hackers at any time. Users may even unknowingly insert malware or spyware into the desktop to steal information, such as bank details, and photographs.
In this context, it is worth mentioning that the M94 update was sent by Google a few days ago. This latest Chrome update was mandatory for all users. It was further stated that without this new update, all the users would have their login passwords of different websites synced in Google Chrome. Older updates may cause problems with that sync. Users may also lose to access to their Google Chrome if they use the old update.
What Google is saying about the updated Chrome browser?
No response from Google was received instead of the CERT report. This popular web browser company did not report anything directly about this security error. However, Google recently announced a new Chrome update for desktop version users of Chrome. It is learned that Chrome has already been updated to the stable channel version 96.0.4664.93. Besides, the extended stable channel has also been updated.
Chrome browser users will be getting new updates on Windows, MacBook and Linux devices in the next few days. However, Google has instructed users to update to the latest version of Chrome as soon as possible to maintain their data security.
