Video sharing time on Instagram stories is increasing to 1 minute

Instagram, formerly owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), is experimenting with a sixty second long video sharing feature. Matt Navarre is the first to notice that Instagram has sent notifications to various small groups about the new changes. This is seen as a much-needed upgrade to Instagram, as Snapchat does not allow long-term video uploads to its platform.

If Instagram brings this change to the forefront of everyone, tech experts believe that it will overtake Snapchat in the competition. TikTok is one of the most popular video editing platforms for content creators. Instagram is trying to attract content creators by launching longer video sharing capabilities.
