There are many people nowadays who use WhatsApp on their computer as well as their phone. For some time now, the web version of WhatsApp means that the desktop version of WhatsApp is not active on mobile phones, but there are questions about whether it can be used on laptops or computers. It is now known that even if the handset does not have internet, the web version of WhatsApp with the same mobile number can be used for fourteen  consecutive days with the help of desktop internet.

WhatsApp's statement states that if the registered mobile number is not netted after fourteen days of use, the session of the WhatsApp web version will be automatically logged out. Many people ask that if you don't have WhatsApp on your mobile, if you only chat on the web version, will the security of the message be maintained? In answer to this question, the company has instructed the users not to worry. Because in this case also the chat will be end-to-end encrypted.

It also said that from now on a phone's WhatsApp can be linked to up to four devices simultaneously.

How to link a phone's WhatsApp to a device :

* First of all, you have to open WhatsApp on your mobile and click on the three dots option on the right side.

* Then from the drop down menu, select the "Linked Device" option.

* Then from there you have to select "Multi device beta" option.

* This will open a new page, listing the benefits of this beta version.

* Then click on "Join Beta" option to continue.

* Then scan the computer's QR Code and the device will be linked.

It is known that this new multi device link feature will be available in the latest Android version. WhatsApp also said that once the link is made, the web version will work even if the phone is far away from the desktop.
