The new Exynos 2200 GPU will rely on AMD's RDNA 2 graphics architecture. Gaming consoles like the current Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 run on the same graphics technology.

AMD uses the same graphics architecture on the ‘RX6000’ series graphics card. However, while the ‘Exynos 2200’ chipset is for smartphones, it can be frustrating if you want gaming console performance, according to technology site Verge.

The site hopes to improve the graphics capabilities of the new Exynos 2200 chipset smartphone, even if it doesn't match the performance of a gaming console or gaming PC.

Exynos 2200 chipsets are likely to be added as an upgrade to Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra smartphones. In 2021, Samsung unveiled the ‘Axinos 2021’, the successor to the Axinos 2200.

It is expected that Samsung will use its new chipset in international models of flagship smartphones. And in a market like the United States, the same smartphone will have the ‘Snapdragon 8 Generation 1’ chipset.

However, those interested in the new chipset do not have to wait long. Samsung will officially unveil the chipset on January 11, and the company has already been able to generate interest in the technology products market through its advertising message.
