According to Microsoft's previously announced guidelines, users are already getting the opportunity to support Android apps on the Windows 11 operating system. However, it was limited to Beta channel users in Windows Insider. This time Microsoft has taken advantage of Windows 11 Android app support for the users registered in Dev channel. The company has already curated 50 applications in collaboration with Amazon and popular app developers.

If you want to run Android applications on Windows 11, you must first join the Beta channel or Dev channel on Windows Insider. In addition, you need to set the region of your PC in the United States and access the Amazon App Store. You will also need an America-based Amazon account. In addition to these you need to keep an eye on a few more special things. According to Microsoft, your PC must have at least 8GB of RAM, an SSD and an 8th generation Intel Core i3, AMD Raizen 3000 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8C processor or later. However, if you are not a Windows Insider user, you can still use the Android app through the Windows Subsystem.

The company claims that from now on it will be very easy for you to run any application or game on Android 11. The snap layout feature allows you to run applications smoothly side by side. Alternatively, you can pin them to your Start menu or Taskbar and interact with them via mouse, touch or pen input. You can also easily see notifications of apps in the Action Center.

Microsoft wrote in a blog post about this, “Regardless of the technology used to create an application, our new Microsoft Store search experience is able to provide the best results to users. When you want to download an Android app, the Amazon Appstore will help you do just that."
